These bodybuilding protein cookies are a great snack if you are feeling hungry and fancy something seemingly naughty. At only 83 calories per cookie its a perfect sweet fix. You can also do a bit of experimenting with these and add different dried fruit, nuts or even chocolate chips.
100g Scotts Oats
50g Flax Seeds
2 Scoops Vanilla Whey Protein
1 Large Banana
1 Tbsp Zero Calorie Maple Syrup or Honey
2 Tbsp Of Powdered Peanut Butter Mixed With Water
Preheat your oven to 160 degrees celsius. Then mix your oats, flax seeds and protein powder in a bowl.
Now mix your peanut butter and maple syrup or honey in a bowl. If you are using a non powdered peanut butter melt it in a pan with the maple syrup or honey.
Next mash the banana and add this to the dry ingredients along with the peanut butter mixture and mix together.
Now spoon the mixture onto a greased baking tray into cookie shapes. This should make 12 cookies. Then put into the oven for around 15-20 minutes or until going golden brown.
All you need to do now is take them out let them cool down and you can enjoy your delicious protein treat.
