Here is a way to make your chicken meal a lot less boring. Not only does it spice up your normal chicken dish but it has low calories too which will be kind on your waistline. This meals macros are perfect for a lean bulk, just reduce the pasta to get the carbohydrates right for you if your on a diet.
4 Chicken Breasts (600g) Chopped Into 1.5 Inch Chunks
2 Tins Of Chopped Tomatoes
1 Table Spoon Of Tomato Puree
300g Red Pepper
4 Garlic Cloves Minced
60ml White Wine
1/4 Teaspoon Of Cayenne Pepper
1 Cube or Chicken Stock Pot
1.5 Teaspoon Smoked Paprika
1/2 Teaspoon Dried Basil
1/2 Teaspoon Thyme
2 Tablespoons Of Ground Arrowroot
Salt And Pepper To Taste (Suggest 1 Tsp Salt and 1/4 Tsp Pepper)
Grease the inside of the slow cooker wth some oil or 1 calorie spray. Then put in the garlic, pepper and chicken in the bottom.
Now you mix all the other ingredients in a bowl and stir well.
Once mixed pour the sauce over the chicken and garlic and stir again. Then turn on the slow cooker to high heat for 4-5 hours.
Once the sauce has cooked add to the pasta or courgetti. You could use zoodles for a lower carb version. This is so easy to make and tastes great, especially on those cold winters nights. Enjoy !
